Facilities

The Villa is set within a beautifully kept garden surrounded by olive and oak trees.
At the rear of the property there is a large oak forest lined with paths where one can choose to explore the typical Umbrian environment. Whilst at the front of the Villa, the terraced swimming pool overlooks the undulating countryside mottled with medieval villages; the perfect location to watch the sun sink into the horizon.
       
The restaurant (open only for guests staying at Il Rughinello)
Il Rughinello has a lovely restaurant which stands completely separate from the residential villa, terraced above the pool.
During the summer months, one may dine outside under the covered patio and enjoy the sunset into the undulating valley before you. At night the illuminated pool and garden is a wonderfully peaceful place to relax and enjoy a night cap.
During the cold months the welcoming warmth of the dining area perfectly sets the scene for a romantic evening.

Our Chef will delight you with culinary specialties of various Italian regions with a choice of seasonal fish, seafood, meat or game.
Il Rughinello also cellars a fine selection of some of the best Umbrian wines either accompany your meal or to enjoy as an aperitf. This selection has been made with great care by our sommelier, looking at both quality and price to offer you the best in both categories.

In this enchanting location we can organize everything for your
ceremony and reception, including catering, music, flowers, celebrant and any other particular request to make your special day perfect. Outdoor Activities Outdoor Activities (short drive)
Swimming Pool: relax by the salt water pool, which has an incredible view of the countryside.
Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine as the sun sets before you. 		Golf: at a 30 minutes drive from the house you will be able to play golf in the "Perugia Golf Club", one of the best golf courses in Umbria.

Cultural Cities: if you are interested in visiting the beautiful historical cities of Umbria (Todi, Perugia,Orvieto...) tours can be organized for you with a guide. There are also Gastronomical tours available that pay particular attention to the culinary delights of the region. Rafting: at a 45 minutes drive, you will find the Marmore water falls, one of the biggest and most impressive in Italy.
Rafting, hydro speed and canoeing are all available from May until September. Bookings required.(www.marmore.it)
Mountain Bikes: if you like mountain bikes, we can organize a pick up and delivery service of as many bikes as you like. The area offers many trails with spectacular views. Wine tasting: the property is located inside the wine producing area called "The Orvietano". There are 33 wine cellars which are open for wine tasting. A wine tour can be arranged with a driver to take you to each cellar (min 10 pax). Booking is essential.

Shiatsu is a manual technique aimed at preserving and re-establishing health through a holistic approach. Digital pressure is made on specific points on the body which stimulate the natural regenerative capacity of the organism to re-create balance.
It is an important healing method and above all an instrument of prevention and health maintenance.
