From Roma: from the Leonardo da Vinci airport in Fiumicino follow the signs Roma Centro, these will lead you onto a freeway to Roma. After a few miles, you will see a sign to Firenze (Florence) turn off on that exit and it will lead you onto a smaller freeway that circles around Rome. It's called Grande Raccordo Anulare (G.R.A), follow its direction North, until you will see the sign Florence (Firenze) keep following the sign to Florence you will have to leave the G.R.A. and take the freeway A1 (Rome - Firenze), exit at Orte and follow the sign to Perugia on the freeway E45, after the town of Todi, take the exit to Marsciano-Collepepe and follow the road into town. Cross the town of Marsciano and follow the indication to Orvieto and San Venanzo on road #317. The road will start to climb and after 7 km, you will see a sign Civitella dei Conti turn right and you will see the property and the sign. From the Rome airport it's approximately 2 hours. If you leave from the city of Rome, just follow the sign to G.R.A, and once again follow the signs to Florence same as from the Airport. From Orvieto: follow the signs that direct you to Monte Peglia and San Venanzo following the picturesque state road for 30 km that climbs up to Monte Peglia. Drive through the town of San Venanzo and continue on the state road that directs you to Marsciano. After approximately 3km turn left at the road that states Civitella dei Conti. Il Rughinello is the well sign posted next turn. Alternative route from Orvieto: take the road to Todi and the Lake of Corbara. Follow the directions to Todi and Marsciano. Drive through Marsciano and take the #317 state road to San Venanzo. After approximately 8km turn right onto the dirt road that states Civitella dei Conti. Il Rughinello is right at the entrance and is well sign posted.
